FACULTY OF ECONOMICS - FELU KNOWLEDGE FOR PROGRESS

The Faculty of Economics (FELU) has a long tradition in research and education as it was founded in 1946. Today, it is the largest faculty of the University of Ljubljana with almost 8000 full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students.

EQUIS ACCREDITED FACULTY

In line with school reorganisation and modernisation the FELU was awarded with EQUIS accreditation which is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. This establishes the Faculty among the world's best business schools with the highest academic quality.

PROGRAMMES

Development and modernisation of teaching and research work have been priorities at the FELU from its very beginning It was one of the first faculties in Slovenia to establish new internationally comparable programmes at both undergraduate and graduate levels accredited under the 3+2 system in line with the Bologna Declaration and the prevailing pattern of business studies in Europe.

PROGRAMMES OFFERED IN ENGLISH

The FELU offers various undergraduate and graduate programmes in business and economics in Slovenian and English language. Moreover it is the only faculty in Slovenia which offers programmes in English at every level of study - undergraduate, graduate and doctoral. This enables foreigners to study in Slovenia in English language and at the same time gives opportunity to Slovenian students to study in the international environment.
